Glenelly位在南非最佳產區，出產均衡高雅的葡萄酒。酒莊主人是大名鼎鼎的法國波爾多二級名莊女爵堡Pichon Lalande原莊主May de Lencquesaing女爵。資歷超豐富的May是波爾多葡萄酒協會原主席、女爵堡老莊主、現任南非女爵葛萊妮莊主，1994年獲評『世界葡萄酒年度風雲人物』，2012年更接受法國政府授予『國家終身成就大獎』，表彰她對波爾多葡萄酒近代歷史所做出的卓越貢獻。
2003年已78歲的女爵從波爾多葡萄酒協會卸任主席後，就相中這片128公頃的葡萄園，就此移居展開悠閒半退休生活，並將她一生在波爾多釀酒心血與經驗投入這片新的土地。
